Frequently asked questions

Click the questions to find the answers.

What is the deal?

The deals are different every time but this is the best to date. Scroll to the top of the page to see the details. Or message me.

What if my old Thermomix is faulty?

That's fine.  Thermomix has stated that whatever condition your Thermomix is in, they'll honour the current deal.  Even if it has stopped working.

Are there payment options

Can you show me how the TM7 works?

Sure, email me and I can either jump on a Zoom, share videos or chat with you over the phone. Use one of the links above or call me on 0417 104 585

What happens to all the Thermomixs that are returned?

Each TM is examined and, where appropriate, cleaned up. Suitable ones are sent to charity organisations to assist with catering efforts, while others are utilised for spare parts.

How do I return my old Thermomix

It's quite simple. After you've placed your order, Thermomix will email you the necessary instructions and return postage slip (you don't pay). In essence, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Locate an appropriate box for your Thermomix or find one that works.  (check out Bunnings😉 )

  2. Take your Thermomix to the post office, along with the order information provided by Thermomix.

  3. Ship your old unit back as instructed.

The cost of returning your Thermomix and receiving the new unit is covered in the trade-up deal, so you don't need to worry about any additional expenses.

What makes the TM7 that much better than the previous models?

The TM7 is a significant upgrade over its predecessors, offering a range of improvements and new features that make it more efficient and user-friendly.

Cookidoo subscription how how does it work and how much is it?

Cookidoo is a subscription-based service for Thermomix users.  When you buy a brand-new Thermomix, you will receive a 3-month free trial, giving you ample time to explore and evaluate the platform.  If you find it valuable and wish to continue using it, the subscription costs $89 annually.  The choice to subscribe or not is entirely up to you.

There are hundreds of recipes built into your TM7, and of course, you can use your TM7 manually as you did with your older machine.

Many users, like me, find Cookidoo an excellent source of cooking inspiration and a more cost-effective option than buying multiple cookbooks.  When writing this answer, there are over 100,000 recipes on the platform, with new ones added each month.

Suppose you'd like a 30-day free trial.  Click here.  Just remember the email address and password you've chosen to use, because if you decide to keep Cookidoo, it will remember you. 😁

If there won't be parts available next year how can we keep them running?

Vorwerk has announced on their website that they will cease production of parts for older Thermomix models after a decade of their initial sale.

I don't know if all the parts will be gone by next year.   However, yes, it will become increasingly more difficult to service as many parts are made explicitly for the TM31.  If you want to keep your TM31, or for your TM5 for that matter I suggest having it serviced and purchasing a new lid seal or lid at a minimum.  Here's a link to a list of service centres around Australia.

Will this be the last Trade up offer for TM31 or TM5's

Good question.  I guess if they can't be repaired and sent to charities, they may be at the end of their trade-up life.
I'm not sure, though.  Thermomix hasn't said that they'll remove the trade-up deal.
Recently, the TM31 has disappeared from many areas of Cookidoo regarding guided recipes.

I hope you'll continue to get the chance because the TM6 really is amazing, but only head office will know that information.   For now, I can help.
