Start here: Lesson 1.

Welcome to my Perfect Pizza Guide. I’ll show you how I make pizzas in the Ovana or a similar home pizza oven, with a crunchy base and light, airy, bubbly edges.

Here’s what we’ll cover:

  • My pizza dough recipe, with Thermomix and stand mixer methods.

  • Choosing ingredients and working with tacky dough.

  • Resting and shaping the dough, and getting it onto the peel.

  • Sauce, toppings and cooking your pizza.

  • Storing dough and working out what went wrong.

You’ll also find demonstration videos, downloadable recipes, Cookidoo links and a bonus garlic naan recipe.

For your first visit, work through the lessons in order, so the ingredient notes and demonstrations make sense alongside the recipe. When you come back to cook, head to the Pizza dough recipe and full method, or use Download the pizza dough quick guide as your kitchen reminder. The sauce and topping downloads are in Pizza sauce and Pizza topping ideas.

If you have a question along the way, please ask. I’m here to help.
