Before we start

I know this course looks long but before you panic, I've got some shortcuts for those that can't wait.

If you already have a starter and are the kind of person that just wants to get on with it, why not scroll down to the section named "Start here if you really can't wait:"

This section explains my favourite way of making sourdough bread at home.  It's the easiest way I know, and I'm sure you'll love it too.

If you don't have a starter, then I suggest you get one on the go.  It does take a few days to get one up and running, but of course, I've written up some quick ways to get started.

There's also a section on Mad Mille sourdough, you can be baking bread in as little time as it takes for them to deliver the sachet.
